Sitepoint have published some interesting details from a report on passwords used in 2011.

The frankly terrifying truth is that many, many people are using very, very weak passwords.

Here are the top 25 dumb passwords:

If you are using any of these (or anything else similarly weak) please, please change it to something sensible!

The best type of passwords contain numbers, lower & uppercase letters and even symbols if you can manage it, and the longer the better.

So please take our password advice and protect yourself and your data!
