Barber Wines offer a selection of fine and rare wines for sale via their e-commerce website. As a new start up company they required a full website design and development service.
Due to the nature of their business (including licensing to sell alcohol) they required a number of bespoke elements in their web site, including:
- Age verification
- Tailored e-commerce solution for niche market
- API integration with Wine Searcher website
It was agreed with the client early in the design process that the website should have a strong emphasis on product imagery. This was to help ensure the website was head and shoulders above the competition!
It was also agreed that the site should be responsive to ensure that it benefited from the ever growing trend in mobile shoppers.
