The Sampson Society is an organisation formed to celebrate, appreciate and promote the architectural and artistic accomplishments of R.W. Sampson.

Mr R.W. Sampson LRIBA was responsible for practically the whole of the architectural layout of early 20^th century Sidmouth, including the Victoria Hotel and many other outstanding buildings.

The Sampson Society required their existing website to be updated and refreshed, making it more accessible across a range of devices (utilising responsive design techniques) and more easily updated and maintained.

We implemented a content management system, responsive design techniques and best practice search engine optimisation strategies to help promote the society as fully as possible.

The website has an extensive gallery of photographs both of actual buildings and building plans / drawing. The site also includes comprehensive house histories or buildings designed by Mr Sampson. The aim of the site design was to make this content as accessible as possible, providing a comfortable reading experience with a content first strategy.
